Heating instructions and ingredients

Meals are fully cooked and ready for you to heat and serve. Please allow up to 4 hours for heating and preparation. Please note that due to differences in ovens, heating times may vary.

A note about allergens: Our holiday dinners are prepared in kitchens that handle all common allergens, including dairy, eggs, fish, nuts, peanuts, soy, shellfish, and wheat.

Main Dishes

Organic Roasted Turkey

Keep refrigerated until ready to reheat. Remove turkey from fridge, remove from bag, rub with softened butter or olive oil, place in a roasting pan and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350F. Cover with foil. Remove foil for the final 30 minutes of cooking for a crisper skin. Cook to an internal temperature of 165F. Let stand for 15 minutes before carving.

Heating times (approximate)

6-10 lbs1 to 1 1/2 hours
10-12 lbs1 1/2 to 2 hours
16-18 lbs2 to 2 1/2 hours

Ingredients: Diestel organic turkey, water, sea salt, evaporated cane juice, sodium carbonate, natural flavoring and organic caramel.

Hazelnut Cranberry Field Roast

Preheat oven to 425F. Unwrap roast and place on a sheet pan. Roast for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown. Slice for service.

Ingredients: Filtered water, vital wheat gluten, expeller pressed safflower oil, cranberries, crystallized ginger (ginger, cane sugar), toasted hazelnuts, naturally flavored yeast extract, barley malt, whole wheat flour, granulated garlic, non-sulfured dried apples, onion powder, yellow pea flour, ginger juice (ginger, citric acid), toasted sesame oil, lemon juice, sea salt, Irish moss (sea vegetable) extract, spices, organic wheat flakes, black pepper, tomato paste, garlic, red wine, natural hickory smoke flavor with torula yeast, rubbed sage, lentils, rosemary, paprika, natural liquid smoke and carrots. Puff pastry: Enriched unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, organic expeller pressed palm oil, sea salt. Rib Roast

Keep refrigerated until ready to reheat. Remove roast from refrigerator. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350F. Remove roast from bag. Place roast in a roasting pan bone-side down with 1 cup of water or beef broth. Cover with foil. Heat to desired taste (recommended internal temperature 110F to 120F). Use a meat thermometer to ensure accurate temperature. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove string before serving.

Heating times (approximate)

3-rib roast1 to 1 1/2 hours
4-rib roast1 1/2 to 2 hours

Ingredients: Rib roast, sea salt, pepper, garlic.

Mashed Potatoes

Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Stovetop (recommended): Simmer over medium-low heat in a saucepan, stirring every few minutes, until potatoes are heated through, 15 to 20 minutes.
Microwave: Transfer to a covered dish and microwave 4 to 5 minutes. Stir thoroughly and microwave an additional 2 to 3 minutes if necessary.
Note: Potatoes thicken upon reheating. Add milk if needed, to get desired consistency.

Ingredients: Organic potatoes, milk, butter, salt. Contains dairy

Vegan Mashed Potatoes

Stovetop (recommended): Simmer over medium-low heat in a saucepan, stirring every few minutes, until potatoes are heated through, 15 to 20 minutes.
Microwave: Transfer to a covered dish and microwave 4 to 5 minutes. Stir thoroughly and microwave an additional 2 to 3 minutes if necessary.
Note: Potatoes thicken upon reheating. Add rice milk or water if needed, to get desired consistency.

Ingredients: Organic russet potatoes, rice milk, organic olive sunflower oil blend, salt, black pepper.

Pies

Apple Crumb Pie

Pie may be served at room temperature. To serve warm, preheat oven to 350F, and bake, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Ingredients: Organic apples, organic cane sugar, organic cornstarch, organic lemon juice, organic ground cinnamon. Vegan Pie Shell: Organic unbleached wheat flour, organic palm oil shortening, water and salt. Vegan Crumb Topping: Organic unbleached wheat flour, organic rolled oats, Earth Balance (natural oil blend (palm fruit, canola and olive oil); salt; sunflower lecithin; lactic acid [non-dairy]; annatto extract), organic cane sugar, brown sugar, organic cinnamon. Contains wheat

Pumpkin Pie

This pie is best served chilled.

Ingredients: Pumpkin, organic cage free eggs, brown sugar, organic cane sugar, organic whole milk, organic half and half, ginger, organic ground cinnamon, organic cloves, salt. Pie Shell: Organic unbleached wheat flour, organic palm oil shortening, water, salt. Contains eggs, dairy, wheat

Vegan Pumpkin Pie

This pie is best served chilled.

Ingredients: Pumpkin, organic cane sugar, brown sugar, organic ground cinnamon, ginger, organic cloves, salt, egg replacer (potato starch, tapioca, flour, calcium lactate, calcium carbonate, cream of tartar, cellulose gum, modified cellulose), organic corn starch, arrowroot powder, organic unsweetened soy milk. Vegan Pie Shell: Organic wheat flour, organic palm shortening, water, salt. Contains wheat, soy

Other

Emerald City Salad

Toss organic hearty green and dressed organic wild rice and vegetable mixture right before serving.

Ingredients: Hearty greens (organic chard and organic kale), organic wild rice, red peppers, organic fennel, organic lemon juice, organic olive sunflower oil blend, organic green onions, organic Italian parsley, salt, organic garlic, organic black pepper.

Roasted Squash

Oven: Preheat oven to 350F. Heat uncovered, for 12 to 15 minutes; serve warm.
Microwave: Transfer to a covered dish and microwave 2 to 3 minutes.

Ingredients: Organic winter squash, organic olive sunflower oil blend, salt, spices.

Sage Stuffing

Oven: Preheat oven to 350F. Cover pan with foil and heat for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes more, to brown the top.
Microwave: Transfer to a covered dish and microwave 4 to 5 minutes. Stir thoroughly and microwave an additional 2 to 3 minutes if necessary.

Ingredients: Organic bread cubes (unbleached, enriched wheat flour; water; salt; wheat germ; barley malt; rye flour; yeast) organic celery, organic onions, vegetable stock (water, organic carrots, organic onions, organic celery, salt and spices), organic mushrooms, organic olive sunflower oil blend, salt, spices. Contains wheat

Mushroom Risotto


Oven: Preheat oven to 350F. Cover pan with foil and heat for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes more, to brown the top.
Microwave: Transfer to a covered dish and microwave 4 to 5 minutes. Stir thoroughly and microwave an additional 2 to 3 minutes if necessary.

Ingredients: Organic crimini mushrooms, organic Arborio rice, heavy cream, organic carrots, organic yellow onions, Parmesan cheese (pasteurized part-skim milk, culture, salt, enzymes, < 2% powdered cellulose added to prevent caking), white wine (contains sulfites), organic olive sunflower oil blend, organic celery, salt, spices. Cranberry Sauce

Serve at room temperature.

Ingredients: Cranberries, apple juice (apple concentrate, water) organic evaporated cane sugar, cinnamon.

Horseradish Sauce

Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Ingredients: Sour cream, mayonnaise (expeller-pressed canola oil, cage-free eggs, water, vinegar, organic cane sugar, mustard flour, salt), prepared horseradish (horseradish, vinegar, salt, natural flavorings), Dijon mustard (water, vinegar, mustard seed, salt, white wine, fruit pectin, citric acid, tartaric acid, sugar, spices), green onions. Contains dairy, eggs

Gravy

Turkey Gravy

Stovetop: Place in a saucepan and simmer over medium-low, heat, stirring frequently, until hot, about 10 minutes.
Microwave: Transfer to a covered dish and microwave 3 to 4 minutes. Stir.
Optional: For a creamy finish, whisk in 1/4 cup heavy cream per bag of turkey gravy.

Ingredients: Turkey stock (water, turkey, organic onion, organic carrot and organic celery, bay leaf, peppercorns), turkey, butter, flour, garlic, fresh herbs, organic olive and sunflower oil blend, bay leaf, organic sage, organic thyme, peppercorns, poultry seasoning. Contains dairy, wheat

Mushroom Gravy

Stovetop: Place in a saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until hot, about 10 minutes.
Microwave: Transfer to a covered dish and microwave 3 to 4 minutes. Stir.
