Healthier meat and dairy

The most common questions about meat and dairy are how and where the animals are raised and what they're fed. Are they given outdoor access? Are they pastured? Are they given non-therapeutic antibiotics? What about hormones? Are they traceable to a certain farm?

Many scientific studies show that raising animals on pasture is healthier for animals, consumers, the environment and communities than raising meat and dairy animals in confinement on factory farms.

Pasture-raised animals consume a natural diet of grasses and other plants that their bodies are adapted to digest. Pasturing improves their health, reduces environmental damage, and yields meat, eggs and dairy products that are tastier and more nutritious.
