my typical breakfast

I often eat home-made muesli. It's a Bastyr recipe called Immune Support breakfast.

Coffee! That is every day rain or shine. Sometimes that's it!

What I eat for Breakfast.

I eat oatmeal with flax seed, blueberries, banana and soy milk.

Breakfast energy

I drink an alkaline smoothie.

Avacado, cucumber, arugula, parsley, maple syrup, lemon, ice cubes, water. It is not only great to balance my Ph. But it gives a lot of zest!

1 whole wheat English muffin, toasted, and topped with
2 T. part-skim ricotta cheese, and
2 T. homemade freezer jam, made with organic strawberries or blueberries from my garden

1 cup coffee
Soy Creamer

I have a breakfast muffin made from whole wheat, oats, flax meal, b. sugar, banana, dates, nuts, and yogurt with almond butter on it, and a fruit/yogurt smoothie.

I know its supposed to be unhealthy but it works very well for me

What I eat for breakfast

I have a breakfast of sliced banana & seasonal berries, or diced pear, with raw walnuts, raw almonds (soaked overnight), raw sunflower seeds, flax seeds ground with cinnamon, and soy milk or plain yogurt. YUM!!

What I eat for breakfast

I make a smoothie of juice, frozen mango and berries, yogurt, protein powder and fiber powder.

Yes oatmeal but also toast, fruit and coffee. And sometimes peanut butter and toast and fruit. Sometimes cheese and toast and fruit.

Eggs, bacon, and espresso w/

Eggs, bacon, and espresso w/ cream. The eggs and bacon are pastured and from the Ballard Farmers' Market (hint hint local pastured eggs in your dairy?).

Protein shake with PCC's "Show me the Whey" (bulk) vanilla protein powder, a cup of almond milk, a handful of fresh spinach and frozen mango chunks, a little agave, a splash of vanilla & ice. I mixed up the fruit so I don't get bored. I also like a shake of cayenne in there and a chunk of ginger.

Almond butter mixed with coconut butter, coconut flakes and chopped apple.

We rotate...either oatmeal with milk, dried cranberries, and cinnamon OR eggs (from our chickens), whole grain toast, and fruit. Saturday mornings it's the works! Homemade buttermilk pancakes, homemade buttermilk syrup, bacon and/or sausage, eggs, and fruit. And really great coffee every day! :)
