Cinnamon Sautéed Bananas

This delicious recipe takes advantage of the naturally sweet flavor of this versatile fruit. A few simple ingredients turns basic bananas into something special. Try on ice cream for dessert, or with pancakes for brunch.


These ingredients are:

Slice bananas in half lengthwise and brush with lemon juice.

Melt butter with sugar and cinnamon in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add bananas and sauté until just tender and golden, 4 to 6 minutes.


Serve on a warm plate. Try serving these bananas with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce.
